LogClarity 2.1, A new era for intelligent log management solutions.
San Diego, CA (Jan 28th, 2007) Log Fidelity is proud to announce the release of LogClairty 2.1 The goal of releasing 2.1 was to build on our already robust patent-pending LogClarity Design Framework (LCDF) which uses an analyze first methodology by automatically collecting true instances of logs while removing redundant, duplicated and misleading logs in real time.
This powerful breakthrough provides IT managers and administrators the ability to achieve “intelligent” log management. Forensics is dramatically improved while addressing the much needed log retention issue with automation. Our customers are facing huge roadblocks today, so it is imperative that we continue to focus on the specific challenges that they bring to us from the field to constantly enhance our capabilities.
Log searchability, filtering and archiving are the key areas in which security administrators have expressed are the most cumbersome problems with other solutions. and manual methods. These time-consuming processes are an unbearable problem that IT professional must fight through if they are going to attain log management compliance and security. In order for customers to meet the regulatory compliances such as Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, FISMA, PCI, or the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act they must maintain their logs between 5-7 years depending on their legislative requirement and geographical location.
